Graphic Designer

MAIN FUNCTION:

We are seeking a highly creative and talented Graphics Designer with strong design and illustration skills, a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and a passion for design to join our team. The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs, which are on-brand and support the efforts of our Marketing and Digital teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or similar discipline.
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Experience with CPG or DTC preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a graphic design and print production role with proven skills in brand work a must.
• Candidate MUST have portfolio of work available for review, with at least two online project samples that showcases exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of design principals, typography, layout, illustration, and branding.
• Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
• Experience following and executing brand design standards.
• Experience with digital illustration preferred.
• Experience in preparing files and assets for development or final production.
• Excellent typography skills.
• Knowledge of following branding guidelines.
• MAC Expertise and PC Proficient.
• Expert graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (*Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator*) and Dreamweaver.
• Working knowledge of Video Editing Software (Premier Pro, After Effects, XD, Final Cut), 3-D Rendering, HTML, CSS, JQuery web standards and JavaScript a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Self-driven, detail oriented with strong organizational/prioritization skills.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment a must.
• Effective time management to meet deadlines.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Collaborative work style with excellent interpersonal skills (team player).
• Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
• Must be able to take conceptual direction and work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team on a wide range of materials.
• Develop concepts, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Develop and execute design concepts for on-brand / on-trend print and digital collateral – including but not limited to package design, digital ads, customer premium content, email campaigns, website graphics, social media graphics and print collateral.
• Manage the design and uploading process of all project material.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, incorporating them into design concepts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
• Edit photos for web and print projects, including resizing, reformatting, color correction, and retouching.
• Create and refine innovative package design concepts.
• Establish and adhere to brand identity guidelines, ensuring integrity within and across brands.
• Maintain current on-line image library for media, PNY reps and customers.
• Pre and postproduction expertise.
• 2-D & 3-D Rendering of Packaging and Displays.
• Develop packaging and display mockups.
• Visual Trade Show Design & Collateral.
• Product photography and videography.
