Position Description:
Slabbers are tasked with breaking down cartons of tickets in sequential order to be put on the automation line. They must work as a team to keep up with the pace of the automated finishing line and move/organize ticket racks to ensure that the product is in the correct order once it’s placed on the conveyor belt.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Moving and locating racks of folded lottery tickets to the production area of the Packing Line for the finishing process
- Unloading the slabs of tickets from the racks and supplying them onto the Packing Line
- Breaking down full slabs of tickets into individual layers (or slabs – “slabbing”)
- Maintaining and managing the Slab O’Matic scanner for sequential operation while loading the Packing Line
- Participates in all job-related safety training and personally complies with all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable to continuously lift 35 lbs. and push/pull 20 lbs. of force
- Able to identify numbers and put them in sequential order
- Able to work Quad, 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods of time during shift hours
- Able to work as part of a team and take direction from peers and supervisors
- Effective communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Must maintain good attendance

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
