Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS , ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties when needed
- Handle payment transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, or similar systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, sanitation, and food safety practices
- Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting roles that demonstrate excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
