Potestivo & Associates is recognized as a leading Creditors’ Rights law firm. Based in Rochester Hills, MI. Potestivo & Associates employs over 40 employees and operates a network of 2 offices in 2 states. We are currently seeking a licensed Associate Attorney preferably 2 years of relevant experience in the practice of Foreclosure and/or Loss Mitigation. Position is located in the Rochester Hills, Michigan office.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Assist department with document review
· Answer and explain questions, identify and resolve issues.
· Assists with general/client specific questions
· Assists with client emails/phone calls
· Assist with escalation
· Assists with team overflow/client workloads
· Assist with administrative duties including regular and certified mailing of documents, scanning documents and saving to our case management system
· Review and approve documents for recording with the Register of Deeds
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as Internet Explorer is a must
· Must be able to type, and communicate effectively with others, while providing excellent customer service to clients.
· Must be able to manage time effectively, multi-task, and prioritize tasks by order of importance
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Must be licensed in the State of Michigan and be an active and in good standing member of the State Bar of Michigan
- Minimum 2-4 years of Foreclosure/Loss Mitigation experience

Proficient with:
- LexisNexis Advance
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Case Management Systems (Case Aware Software a plus)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple Departments
- Very organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong research and investigative skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong oral advocacy skills
