Location: Park City, Utah
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. The AP Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $52,000 annually, but may be flexible depending on experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible time off, and other employee perks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process invoices.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure proper approvals.
- Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.
- Prepare and perform check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting or minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Coupa and Netsuite.
- Familiarity with 1099 processing and sales/use tax.
