I’m the hospitalist medical director for Sound Physicians at Presbyterian Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico. I proudly have been with Sound since 2020 and welcome interest from new graduates and seasoned clinicians. I’d like to share more about who we are and what we do specifically about our people, practice, and purpose as you consider your next steps:
People
- We are a team of four physicians and two daytime advanced practice providers, dedicated to improving health and wellness in New Mexico.
- Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
- Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- ACNP candidates are preferred.
- The hospital has 106 licensed beds; we work in an open ICU environment with seven beds.
- Procedures are not mandatory for our team. Code responses are handled by both our dedicated hospitalist and emergency room teams. Ensuring a collective and supportive approach.
- Experience EPIC EMR’s convenience and access to Sound’s internal informatics platform.
- The day shift rate is $1,800, and the night shift rate is $2,100. You are also eligible for productivity and quality bonuses.
- The medical director stipend is $30K annually.
- Full-time clinical position with a seven-day on, seven-day off schedule.
- This role offers a $75K commencement bonus.
