Hospitalist Physician Job with TeamHealth in Austin, TX

TeamHealth has a new nocturnist hospitalist opening at St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA; staffed with internal medicine (IM) hospitalists and nocturnists, that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule.

St. David's North Austin Medical Center has 441 beds, open ICU (operates as closed), and our physicians are not required to do procedures. We staff the night shift with 2 nocturnist physicians (7p-7a); during the nights the 2 providers will average 16-18 admissions, with 140 cross coverage patients. A rapid response team handles codes and the EMR at all campuses is Meditech.
