Program Manager – Wealth Management (Payment Movement & Regulatory Domain)

Location: On-site 3 days a week downtown Chicago walking distance from Union Station

Client: Well-Known Investment Bank

Hybrid: on-site 3 days a week

We are seeking a Program Manager to join a leading investment bank located in downtown Chicago. This individual will play a critical role in driving large initiatives, particularly in the Payment Movement and Regulatory domain, as part of their Wealth Management division. The focus is on ISO 20022 regulatory compliance, ACH, Wire transfers, and enhancing the user experience in strategic platforms.

Program Manager - Key Responsibilities:

• Drive large initiatives related to payment movement (ISO 20022) and regulatory projects.
• Manage enterprise-level projects across multiple teams and ensure alignment with set timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of large financial initiatives, working with business management, external teams, and Scrum teams.
• Oversee financial and management reporting, forecasting project financials, and tracking budgets through Azure Boards.
• Support capital expense forecasting and assist in preparing quarterly business cases for requesting additional capital.
• Coordinate resources, track progress, and ensure the alignment of deliverables across teams (3 Scrum teams currently, with a 4th being added).
• Drive the agile process across multiple teams and projects, ensuring smooth execution and collaboration between Scrum teams and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in Financial Services - A Plus would be experience in Payment Movement (ISO 20022, ACH, Wire) and Regulatory Compliance.
• Proven expertise in managing large enterprise projects with cross-functional teams, especially in the financial industry.
• Strong financial and management reporting skills, including experience with budget forecasting, tracking, and Azure Boards.
• Experience with strategic platforms and cloud technology migration (specifically Azure cloud) is a large plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with internal and external teams and stakeholders.
