Description
POSITION GOAL: Provides oversight and leadership of direct services, supervision and development of case management and other related services to individuals in the community who have intensive needs. Works with Director of Community Support Services to design and develop programs to enhance and develop intensive community based services to individuals who have higher rates of hospital admissions, arrests, involvement in the criminal justice system and have other higher needs.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- Minimum Experience: Prior experience with crisis care and/or services; preference for previous experience with justice involved individuals.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills. Includes ability to adapt style of communication.
- Must be able to establish effective working relationships with both staff and various community partners
- Must be able to provide leadership and direction for programs, planning, and supervisory purposes
- Must be able and willing to be flexible, a self-starter, punctual, and have the ability to maintain a schedule
- Must be able to relate to patients empathetically and non-judgmentally; and the ability to be sensitive to cultural and ethnic differences
- Must be able to work in a team setting to collaborate and provide the most medically necessary services to the patient
- Must have familiarity with mental health theory and practice, as well as familiarity with treatment approaches to treat substance use disorders with an emphasis on co-occurring disorders
- Must have a valid Kansas driver’s license and be insurable through Prairie View insurance company
- Must be able to complete required training within appropriate time frames
- Must be proficient at basic keyboarding/word-processing skills
- Must be able to pass Kansas Bureau of Investigation Screen and the Central Registry Screen for both adults and children
