Greer Stop Nut, in Nashville, TN has an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician / Auditor
This position is primarily responsible for performing various Quality department assignments including inspecting for non-conforming parts, accurately preparing and issuing certifications for customer shipments, as well as conducting reoccurring audits of areas and processes. The Quality Assurance Technician / Auditor is also responsible for maintaining records of relevant job package information such as, but not limited to, lot number, material certs, testing of heat treat process, material sizing and process verifications.
The Quality Assurance Technician / Auditor also oversees the inspection of newly received material stock, and then stores the receiving inspection documents using the company’s computer software system, per specific procedures.

Schedule: First Shift 7:30AM and the shift ends at 4:00PM Monday - Friday
Overtime: Overtime opportunities are often available on Saturdays or before and after the usual weekday shift.

Qualifications/Expectations:
Candidates should prior experience in a similar Quality Assurance related role that also included reading basic design specifications and prints. Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Office skills are expected. A High School diploma (or equivalent) is required. Advanced educational level is preferred.
