What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Premium Health Staffing?
Schedule:
• Start Date: February 10, 2025
• Shift: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), Monday through Friday
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: Required
Responsibilities:
• Assist perioperative services in providing patient care across various age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Support the surgical team with pre- and post-operative patient needs
• Float PRN to other perioperative service units as required
• Ensure safety and infection control standards are followed
Qualifications:
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience: Preferred experience in acute care, skilled nursing, hospice, home healthcare, behavioral health, or related settings
• Skills: Competency in patient care assistance, including 1:1 sitter experience, is a plus
Requirements:
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Completion of YouLearn Safety Fair and Infection Control competencies prior to floor assignment
Compensation:
• Base Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
• Overtime after 12 hours/day and 60 hours/week
Additional Details:
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• No on-call requirements
