Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience of our clinics across North America, have allowed us to lead the charge against “we caught it too late again.” Prenuvo operates preventative screening clinics in Vancouver, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Bethesda, and Chicago, with more clinics in North America and internationally in the next 2 years.

The Opportunity

We are changing healthcare and bringing a slow moving goliath of an industry into the present while blazing a trail into the future of radiology and clinical operations through software, automation and AI. We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a variety of tasks; ranging from hardware reconfiguration to system problem diagnosis while ensuring that all employees are able to work effectively with minimal downtime. This role will be onsite our clinic HQ in Chicago, candidates must be able to work from this location (near UIC) 3 days a week, and as required.

What You’ll Do

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues for staff (L1-3)
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment.
    • Collaborate with other IT staff and other departments to identify and resolve complex technical issues
    • Maintain and update documentation related to IT infrastructure and support
    • Recommend and implement system improvements and upgrades to enhance performance and security
    • Maintain and manage inventory of hardware and software assets - including shipping and receiving
    • Create and maintain asset management processes
    • Network LAN / WAN maintenance and implementation
    • Cybersecurity knowledge and ability to design and implement solutions - Server/ application/network hardening and lock down to industry standards
    • Maintain ongoing 3rd party/vendor relationships (ie. Dell, CDW, and others as required)
    • Meraki experience is a plus
    • Travel to clinic locations may be required

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong technical skills in computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems are a must
  • Experience in a startup environment or in a small company may be particularly valuable or should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
  • Security Mindset - You employ industry best practices in your daily work and challenge the status quo, seeking better ways of enhancing security of our systems and protecting the privacy of our customers 
  • Excellent Personal Organization & Time Management – You’re able to maximize efficiency in user support and team interactions; meet deadlines, commitments, and project requirements with thorough attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills – You’re able to think creatively to find solutions to complex technical problems
  • Flexibility – You’re able to adapt to changing priorities and willing to take on new responsibilities as needed
  • Strong Communication Skills – You’re able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and work collaboratively with team members, develop and present proposals as well as prepare and conduct group presentations
  • You bring Microsoft knowledge and skills that pertain to infrastructure and OS
  • Experience with Mac OS and Apple Business Manager is a plus
