What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Assistant Superintendent position at Prestonwood Country Club?
Prestonwood Country Club, Cary NC’s premier private establishment for over 30 years and proud host and sponsor of the annual SAS Championship, is seeking two Assistant Superintendents who will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendents to ensure daily standards are met on our championship golf course.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a team of professionals that are seeking to improve and manage a culture of excellence throughout our 54-hole complex. Boosting three championship 18-hole golf courses, we are where Cary comes to play. The successful candidate will take part in the daily and annual scheduling of staff, cultural and chemical planning, irrigation management, nutrient applications and modifications, and equipment care/maintenance.
Job requirements:
*1 - 2 years of golf course maintenance experience.
*2 or 4 year Turf Grass Management degree.
Rate of pay offered will be commensurate with level of experience and education.
This full time year round position will work Monday through Friday with rotational weekend schedules.
MUST pass background check, drug test and be eligible to work in the United States.
