Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring for a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Salem OR 97302. This is a 6-month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time, opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months 1-year experience with phlebotomy along with specimen processing experience.

Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm (PST)

Pay Range: $19 to $22/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
