Job Title: Governance and Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities
- Ensure effective, efficient, and consistent adherence to regulatory requirements and enterprise programs to support a strong compliance culture.
- Collect, review, and present evidence for internal and external audits, and perform quality assurance (QA) and validation of evidence to ensure compliance.
- Administer and implement legal and regulatory responses and documents in support of regulatory compliance matters.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of regulatory compliance controls, security, and critical infrastructure.
- Work with internal business areas to ensure project goals are met and issues are escalated, classified, and documented properly.
- Perform QA and validation reviews of regulatory compliance implementations and associated evidence.
- Exhibit excellent listening and communication skills, promoting effective interactions within and between work groups.
- Provide good customer support to deliver compliance results to internal and external parties.
- Communicate regulatory and compliance matters clearly and concisely.
- Carry out complex individual work assignments independently with some review and direction.
- Assist project teams with developing project work breakdown structures and estimates for completion.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate complex project issues as needed.
- Possess working knowledge of cybersecurity policy, standards, processes, and controls development and implementation.
- Provide input on development of regulatory compliance functional processes and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four or more years of utility, cybersecurity, auditing, compliance, regulatory or related experience; OR
- Eight or more years of utility, cybersecurity, auditing, compliance, regulatory or related experience without a degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, or Electrical Engineering.
- Two or more years of experience working with regulatory standards and requirements.
- Cybersecurity certifications, such as those issued by GIAC, ISACA, (ISC)² etc.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, etc.
- Experience with implementing new enterprise processes and methods in environments with distinct departmental processes.
