Infant Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Instruct infant-aged children in our Balanced Learning Curriculum with the help of our Education Coach
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Provide guidance and support for children who are learning through play
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and fellow teachers
• Positive and patient demeanor with a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Responsibilities:

· Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.

· Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.

· Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.

· Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.

· Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.

· Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.

· Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of Conroe Employee Handbook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

• Conroe, TX 77304: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
