About the Role
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on Vice President of Technology to lead our technology strategy and execution. This is a key executive role, responsible not just for overseeing systems and infrastructure, but for driving innovation that supports our mission and fuels growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with leadership across the organization to ensure our tech roadmap aligns with business priorities—and gets delivered with quality, speed, and security.
What You’ll Do
Set the Technology Vision:
Define and communicate a clear, actionable technology strategy that supports the company’s goals and scales with our growth. Translate complex needs into a strategic roadmap with measurable outcomes.
Drive Innovation:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate and adopt solutions that give us a competitive edge—especially those that can impact care delivery, data, or operational efficiency in healthcare.
Lead and Grow the Team:
Build and develop a high-performing engineering and technology team. Set the tone for collaboration, accountability, and ongoing learning, while providing mentorship and clarity around roles and expectations.
Execute with Excellence:
Oversee the successful planning and delivery of technical projects—from infrastructure and integrations to product enhancements—on time and within budget.
Ensure Security and Compliance:
Implement robust cybersecurity practices and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Proactively mitigate risk across systems and data.
Manage Resources Wisely:
Make smart, strategic decisions about technology investments. Manage vendor relationships and the technology budget to ensure we’re spending wisely while meeting evolving business needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field; a Master’s or MBA is a plus
- 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, ideally in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated industries
- Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams
- A “player-coach” mindset—you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills—you can see the big picture and deliver the roadmap
- Clear communicator who can translate tech into business value
- Passion for solving complex problems and building technology that makes a difference
