What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schools - Speech Language Pathologist position at ProCare Therapy?
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fallbrook, CA. As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development in educational settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
