What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schools - Speech Language Pathologist position at ProCare Therapy?
Minimum 1 years speech therapy experience required.
This is a full-time, temporary position with a schedule of 4 days per week serving students in a resource room and 1 day per week at a preschool location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with identified needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a resource room setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Ohio State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children in a school setting (preferred).
- Experience working in a preschool setting (preferred).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
