Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and identify potential challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimating purposes.
• Maintain and update a database of historical costs and pricing for future reference.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrical estimator in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation processes.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications or a degree in electrical engineering or a related field is a plus.
