Position Overview
Responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks associated with the manufacture of electronic and electromechanical products within an ISO environment. Duties include mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and some basic in-process testing.
Essential Job Functions
- Assemble a diverse group of industrial electronic products, which include mechanical assembly, especially traditional box builds and point to point wiring.
- Perform assigned assembly duties within scheduled time limits; may include recording actual hours worked on a given assembly.
- Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, bills of materials/routings to perform assembly duties
- Advise supervisor of any assembly issues related to quality, safety, performance or cosmetic
- Maintain high levels of quality
Requirements
- Ability to recognize and carry through with quality workmanship in assemblies and sub- assemblies
- Great attention to detail
- Read and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Mechanical aptitude and good hand/eye coordination
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Skills/Abilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use his/her hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
