, Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse. As a CVOR Nurse, you will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Sanford, FL. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the CVOR setting
- Assist with surgical procedures, including open heart surgeries, heart transplants, and valve replacements
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Administer medications and provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain knowledge of current best practices in CVOR nursing Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
