What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at PropHouse Birmingham?
The Executive Assistant job applicant will work closely with our Sales Team & Sales Manager at PropHouse Birmingham. You will assist our Sales Executives in multiple tasks with the ultimate goal of completing and organizing details to achieve job/event completion. The ideal candidate would be a fun and outgoing individual looking for experience to break into the Wedding and Event Industry as this is an entry level position. This individual should consider themselves to be punctual, organized and most importantly a team player. An Executive Assistant will help the Sales Executives and clients dream big dreams for their special events. You will help oversee events from the beginning and initial meeting to the final production of a set event. You will be placing orders in our inventory system, process transactions and help keep your team's sales and quotes live in an organized fashion. This job will also require cross-training throughout the various jobs across PropHouse (ie: Sales Team, Warehouse, Delivery Crews, Painters etc.) We believe this helps our entire staff feel pride in their job as well as, understand each other and respect what we all do for the common goal of seeing client's wedding days and events come to life. You will often act as the face of the company in meetings and onsite at events, and must uphold company values both in how you dress and how you interact with our clients via in person or over the phone/email. This assistant will also help with inquiries and cold calling clients to help our teams break into different markets across Alabama and the Southeast. You will also shadow our Sales Executives during client PropTours and assist with note taking to ensure that all information is included, as well as learning all processes and procedures in case of a Sales Executives absence.
Job Details:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
40 hours / week
Occasional Saturday Support (especially during "Peak" months: April, May, June, September, October, December)
Swing off day during the week when working on Saturdays
Salary Position
Pay Rate: Commensurate with Experience
Responsibilities:

- Facilitating special orders/products needed for events
- On-Site assistance with Setups/Strikes, when needed
