Description
The Shop Technician is responsible for receiving, assembling, and inspecting copiers and printers. The shop technician will be work with the parts team, service team, and distribution team to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Perform Equipment Setups
- Complete Manufacture Product Training
- Shop organization/ Cleanliness
- Verify/Check equipment/Serial Numbers/Accessories
- Main point of Contact for logistical and warehouse needs
- Work with IT and Operations
- Follow detailed instructions for assembly
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly
- Inspect products
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- 1 year of assembly experience
- 1 year of distribution experience
- Detail oriented
- Basic Hand tools
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
