Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Used Truck Sales Manager, the Used Truck Salesman is responsible for selling used equipment, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sale of used trucks of all varieties in stock. Trucks include a variety of used commercial vehicles including conventional trucks, Freightliner trucks, heavy duty trucks, medium duty trucks, day cab trucks, class 8 highway trucks and commercial truck tractors.
- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking.
- Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
- Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing, and presents solutions to identified prospects.
- Able to write accurate used truck appraisals.

- Knowledge in the heavy truck-equipment industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- High energy level, self-starting and highly motivated
- Driver's license in good standing
- Helps to maintain the Used Truck lot.
- Other duties as assigned
