Job Summary: 

Maintains proper speed, sizes, temperatures, cutting depths on OD/ID, starts and stops mill production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Make necessary adjustment on Forming and Sizing Mill to maintain quality pipe.
• Periodically check Mill Stands, etc. for tightness.
• Check gaps at Welding Rolls, Contacts, position of Contacts/Weld Coil, and Seam Guides.
• Check and measure and record size of strip at different stand locations.
• Use burning equipment as required.
• Direct and assist in roll changes and set ups.
• Assist in minor maintenance repairs.
• Fill out necessary log sheets.
• Turn in required repair lists.
• Keep work area and equipment clean.
• Maintain safe working conditions.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Education: High School or equivalent

Years of Experience:  2 year experience in manufacturing environment.

• Other Skills and Abilities:  Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc.

Forklift certified, crane certified
