We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to work seamlessly with the team and patients. This candidate will help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. This is not a typical administrative position, this is an opportunity to develop relationships, impact the wellbeing of patients, and work in a fun and supportive environment with the opportunity to grow professionally. The Patient Care Coordinator is the friendly face that welcomes patients to the practice and play a vital role in our patient's care throughout their course of treatment.
Responsibilities
- Organize office and assist patients and staff in ways that optimize procedures
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Monitor level of supplies
- Coordinate with staff to ensure optimal patient experience
- Maintain trusting relationships with patients, therapists and healthcare network
- Perform receptionist duties including welcoming patients into the clinic, answering phones, managing faxes and emails, filing, scheduling appointments, following up with necessary documents with various providers
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Worskspace
