About the Role:
Join our leading financial services client as a Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master, where you'll play a key hybrid role—dedicating 70% of your time to Agile Scrum Master responsibilities and 30% to business and systems analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Agile professional with a strategic mindset, excellent facilitation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Act as a servant-leader by removing blockers and driving Agile maturity.
- Partner with Product Owners to groom and prioritize backlogs aligned with business goals.
- Track and report team performance using Jira, Power BI, and other tools.
- Coach teams on Agile practices to enhance delivery and collaboration.
- Gather, analyze, and document business/technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct data/process modeling and system impact analysis.
- Support UAT planning, coordination, and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Agile business analysis or Scrum Master roles.
- Deep knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and SDLC.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in Jira and other Agile tools for reporting and dashboards.
- Experience with process modeling and systems integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Fintech or banking domain experience highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams across time zones.
