Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, is accepting applications for one instructor position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, starting in fall 2025. This appointment is in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, part of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
DESCRIPTION: Essential job duties include the following: (1) Develop and teach advanced turbine transition undergraduate courses in professional flight technology; (2) instruct in the Hawker 900 XP, (3) serve on curriculum committees; (4) perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Applicants must hold the appropriate FAA or equivalent national aviation authority certificates and ratings necessary to perform their assigned duties in the Professional Flight Program. FAA ATP, HS125 type rating, and Certified Flight Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
