The Opportunity
Responsibilities of this career opportunity include:
- Providing primary care and preventive health services to clinic patients including but not limited to examination, diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic procedures.
- Coordinating patient medical care with other health professionals.
- Dispensing pharmaceuticals.
- Maintaining patient medical records.
- Assisting in the implementation and evaluation of quality improvement program and quality assurance activities.
- Performing on-call and in-patient responsibilities.
- Providing direction to clerical support and nursing staff.
- Attending staff, committee, and board meetings when requested.
- Consulting with Medical Director and clinic staff on matters relating to patient care, records maintenance, emerging issues, training needs, and clinic protocols.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

The right person for this career opportunity has the following required knowledge, skills, and experience typically required of this opportunity which are acquired through a combination of education and experience.
This career opportunity requires:
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be eligible to practice in the state of Montana with hospital privileges or ability to obtain hospital privileges at St. Peters Health.
- Previous experience as a health provider and experience using electronic health records preferred.
Alternative qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Salary : $190,000 - $237,000
