MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Graduate from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained. 3. Certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and licensed by the state of WV. 4. Must complete certification and become Registered CT within one year of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. Previous Computed Tomography (CT) experience. Instructs and prepares patients for reentgenographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations. 5. Assesses patient’s understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures. 6. Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards. 7. Documents consent for IV contrast. 8. Assists in providing education for student technologists and other ancillary personnel. 9. Verifies exam orders. Personal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families, referring physicians, nursing, patient transport service, administration, and with personnel in other departments. 7.
