We are looking for a Fire Alarm Service Technician for our location in Sunnyvale, Texas! POSITION OVERVIEW: We're looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service/Install Technician to join our team who can service, repair and maintain all fire alarm systems. Qualifications: Current State of Texas FAL License State of Texas Portable Extinguisher license (optional) Valid driver license and clean driving record. Ability to troubleshoot systems (required) Ability to set up monitoring and install wireless communicators (highly preferred) Ability to install new systems and retrofits Ability to repair system (required) Ability to Test & Inspect fire alarm systems Experience with both conventional and non-proprietary addressable fire alarm control panels/systems Experience with fiber optic systems a plus Ability to work on-call rotational schedule Must have flexible schedule with possibilities of working weekends in emergencies Factory training and programming experience highly preferred Experience using handheld electronic devices (phones, tablets, etc.) High School Diploma or equivalent level of education.
