Position Description: This position is responsible for all the day to day activities in the field for installations. This would be for installing and testing of the life safety system that's being installed. This includes pulling wire, panels and mounting devices for the fire control system that is being installed. The leads are to make sure that the jobs are installed in a timely manner and handled in a professional manner. The goal is to satisfy the customer with a better quality of service and to reduce costs associated within Mitec's installation department. Responsibilities: -Make sure that you are on the job on time and ready to work. -Insure the crew has been laid out with what they are to do for the day/week. -Get with the contractor/engineer and let them know that you are on site and going to work for the day. -Make sure that there are plenty of materials on the job and they are accounted for. -Insure that the tools/materials can be accessed by the crew. -Interact [respectfully] with customers, contractors, building engineers and employees to help maintain a professional relationship. -Provide a weekly/daily job status for review with the field supervisor. -Assist engineers with drawings.
