Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates must be sourced locally to the Lake Mary, FL office as this position will be flex with 2-3 days per week in office.
- Candidates must have a high-speed cable, or fiber internet connection - that is not through Telecommunication as Telecommunication is not compatible with our systems.
- This is very important, as DSL/Satellite/Wireless Broadband are not compatible with our systems.
- Candidates must have a quiet and private space designated for work and be fully focused on work during their scheduled hours.
- Contributes to the Accounting/Financial Reporting job family in a support capacity.
- Performs basic accounting analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Manages vendor chargeback balances according to department guidelines, and vendor requirements.
- Processes payments received in an accurate and timely manner. Resubmits invalid claims to vendor for further processing, and follows up on outstanding items according to department guidelines.
- Analyzes pricing and membership data to trends, and root casue of vendor payment discrepancies; actions as needed.
- Handles a limited or specialized professional caseload.
- Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets.
- Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales.
- Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Accounting/Financial Reporting.
Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Heavy B2B accounts receivable experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
- At least 3 years reconciling complex pricing and membership discrepancies. Must be in a B2B environment. Experience understanding complex pricing and agreements .
- Reconciliation experience preferred over Accounting.
- Knowledge of supplier chargeback processes preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to use complex formulas a must.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office product.
- Modern ERP Software (SAP and Oracle) experience preferred.
- Associates or above – ok if they have HS Degree or GED with lots of experience.
