QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer, Intelligence Software Applications Integration Lead to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics – Army (PM IS&A).
The Intelligence Software Applications Integration Lead Role is responsible for directing programmatic and technical work through the acquisition, integration and deployment of Intelligence Software Applications.
Duties:
- Collaborate with a team of Engineers, Test and Quality Support Personnel, provide Contract Support, and work closely with the Product Lead to successfully complete key milestones (e.g., Test-Fix-Test Model) of application procurement of Commercially Available Software.
- Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Key Milestones, and Stakeholder (Vendors, US Army test agencies, US Army operational SMEs, and PM Leadership) Engagements, while conveying risks and Project Status to senior leadership within the PM.
- Responsible for working closely with vendors, to help guide them through key acquisition milestones while providing analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members.
- Work closely with US Army mission command and control program and technical leadership in supporting integration of intelligence applications into applicable platform systems, to include leading participation in technical exchanges and US Army exercises.
- Responsible for the handling of acquisition sensitive activities and information which includes detailed knowledge of the Commercial Software.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Direct experience working with complex software systems performing requirements decomposition, managing requirements, reviewing software design, and tracking software development, integration, and testing.
- Direct experience with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance software systems.
- Direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.
- Direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least fifteen (15) years of related work experience is required.
- Master’s degree and at least twelve (12) years of related experience may also qualify.
Travel:
Less than 25% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $195,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
