Manufacturing Technician
Candidate must be capable of supporting daily product movement, as well as contribute to process development and engineering efforts. Candidate must be able to successfully work within a team environment, be results-oriented, and require little supervision or direction once trained. Candidate must demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude, and the drive for personal development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to follow written procedures and perform detailed operations at a high level.
- Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety, quality, and attendance.
- Interface with interdisciplinary groups (management, logistics, engineering, quality, facilities, maintenance) in a team-oriented work environment.
- Project contributions to reduce costs, reduce cycle time, and improve product yield.
- Be responsible for driving continuous improvement through suggestions, feedback, and improvement projects.
- Daily use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Smock, mask, gloves, hairnet, safety glasses, etc.
SUMMARY:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working in manufacturing environment preferred (but not required)
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, and policies of the company.
- Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Microscope inspection experience a plus
