Armed Security Agent - 3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Zach

The Physical Security Agent (Armed) is responsible for ensuring the physical safety of Quanta facilities and employees, and safeguarding high value computer components from theft and espionage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Control and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Monitor access points, permitting entry per security badge policy, direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours. 
• Tactfully refuse access to anyone without the proper credentials; work with HR and/or IT to confirm access and/or explain rules to those not properly credentialed.
• Patrol property on foot, ensuring personnel, assets, buildings, gates and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions. 
• Perform building and equipment inspections.
• Investigate and take appropriate action as authorized by Quanta Policy on incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, and fire incidents.
• Complete daily and/or hourly reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage and signatures.
• Check all doors, windows, and exits, depending on shift. Maintain and utilize handgun with the highest degree of safety; utilizing ONLY when absolutely necessary per Quanta guidelines and training.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
