Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community has an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time seasoned Financial Analyst to join our team! This role reports directly to the Controller and is a critical part of the day-to-day operations of our Financial Services department.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Takes the lead on the annual budget process
- Analyze monthly budget versus actual variances
- Create financial reports for presentations and communicating financial results to department managers
- Creates meaningful dashboards specific to each department manager
- Prepare and monitor monthly statistics, metrics, and benchmarks
- Serves as back-up to the Controller for month-end processing
- Plays a key role in the preparation of reports for Audits, Cost Reporting, 990, Disclosure statements and all other reporting, as assigned
- Initiates and carries out special projects of varying natures and complexities with limited supervision
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on accounting experience
- Project-oriented, with strengths in organizing tasks and follow-through on deliverables
- Keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of automated accounting systems and report writing software
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with a focus on Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, residents, and visitors
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize tasks
- Experience with not-for-profit accounting and/or health care a plus, but not required
