QuaverEd, Inc. is seeking a Director of Administrative Services reporting to the Vice President of Administrative Services. QuaverEd is an educational technology company located on Music Row in Nashville, TN. The company develops curricula for Elementary and Middle Schools in the areas of music, health, social and emotional learning, and physical education. QuaverEd has 220 staff located on a six-building campus.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Administrative Services is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's administrative functions, ensuring seamless operations across human resources, corporate facilities, reception, printing and fulfillment, and internal IT. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can enhance efficiency, manage cross-functional teams, and support the company’s overall mission and objectives.

Salary Based on qualifications and experience

Human Resources (HR)

  • Oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support company culture and employee engagement.
  • Able to resolve conflict and solve issues quickly.
  • If necessary, perform Internal investigations with appropriate parties.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead professional development initiatives and employee training programs.

Corporate Facilities & Reception

  • Manage office facilities, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee front desk operations, security, and visitor management to ensure a professional and welcoming experience.
  • Optimize office space utilization and coordinate office moves, renovations, or expansions as needed.
  • Printing & Fulfillment

  • Oversee printing and fulfillment operations to ensure timely and accurate production and distribution of materials.
  • Work with other departments on conventions and training needs
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for printing, shipping, and fulfillment services.
  • Internal IT

  • Oversee internal IT operations, ensuring employees have the necessary technology tools and support.
  • Work with IT vendors and internal teams to maintain network security, software management, and data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
  • Qualifications

    Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in administrative leadership roles, including HR, facilities, IT, and operations management.
  • Experience managing corporate facilities and office operations.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, and helpdesk management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred :

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR).
  • Experience in printing, fulfillment, or logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of IT security compliance and software management best practices.
