Quotes Specialist

Job Summary:

The Quotes Associate will gather data to estimate and quote costs for a current or proposed work order.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Collaborates with customers, technicians, and other staff to understand the services being offered .

· Determines needs for additional staff, parts, materials, and other resources.

· Estimates costs of parts, equipment, and billable hours

· Identifies the pricing structure required for products to sell at profit.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create forecasts based on financial data.

· Proficient with accounting software and cost software.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· Two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
