- The QVC planner will report to the Manager of Merchandise Planning and transform sales and manage overall inventory. You will also partner with fellow Planners to propel sales. The Planner will analyze results to decide next actions and make observations around overall trends of a business. Factors such as customer experience, margin, current events, return rates and new names will be considered and discussed as it relates to the business.
- Primary Focus: Home Textiles, Furniture and Storage.
- This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at the West Chester headquarters several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, and DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- Prioritize on-air sales and productivity maximization
- Script assigned shows for all channels according to scripting guidelines, basing decisions around productivity guidelines
- Work with planning partners across all channels
- Strategize items to maximize selling exposures. Including identification and execution of reorders encouraging the future development of the item as a part of the actions taken
- Participate in seasonal planning, quarterly planning and assortment planning for assigned categories
- Identify and react to promotional opportunities including: Flex Pay usage, Shipping & Handling discounts, Sale pricing discounts
- Price product, manage markdowns and manage category margin to the assigned goal
- Analyze show / item performance and recommend/initiate next actions
- Monitor and advise on programming adjustments across all channels
- Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing analytics, Merchandising, Business, or relevant field
- 3-5 years of Merchandise Planner, Allocation or Inventory Analytics experience
- You love working with data and have knowledge of the retail industry to develop ideas, build strategies and achieve the needed results for the assigned category of business.
