Responsibilities

Responsible for overall Deli appearance, cleanliness and organization as outlined in Freshies Operation Manual.

Responsible for all aspect of customer service.

Responsible to ensure all paperwork is executed and followed per Freshies operation manual.

Responsible for ensuring all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed as outlined in Freshies Operation Manual.

Inspects Deli to ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed per state of Maine Department of Health Food and Sanitation guidelines.

Ensure food product and handling procedures are followed per Freshies Operation Manual.

Responsible for training new Deli staff members, communicating proper procedures and expectations to ensure consistency as outlined in Freshies Training Program.

Responsible for day- to-day to management of staff to include building a team that delivers on customer expectations.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Tank Smart C - Training will be provided.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
