What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Welder II position at R.H. White Construction?
Pipe Welder Position Summary:
Work directly with Superintendents, Welding Foreman, and other Welders to complete piping projects. Communicate with Superintendents, Welding Foreman, and other Welders to coordinate resources, materials, means and methods, etc. for projects ranging from small to large. Coordinate and direct NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) crews to complete required VT, RT, or MT requirements.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences for Pipe Welder:
- High School diploma or GED; or equivalent technical training.
- 2-4 years of applicable experience and proficient knowledge of welding and cutting processes.
- Ability to obtain appropriate welding certifications within supervisor assigned timeline.
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification (or completed company provided pre-employment training).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and regular drug testing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
