Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Mission/Technical Functional Area Expert (Journeyman) to support the Project Manager for Cyber and Space (PM C&S) under the Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) in Hanover, Maryland. This position requires a seasoned technical expert with hands-on experience in a specialized field who can provide authoritative guidance to program managers and project teams. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge, proven experience in DoD environments, and the ability to translate technical insight into programmatic success aligned with Army doctrine and strategic goals. This position is contingent on funding, with the anticipated award expected around July 2025. Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to program managers, engineers, and key stakeholders in a specific functional area. Develop and provide actionable guidance, recommendations, and innovative solutions to meet program and project goals. Ensure alignment of technical execution with Army doctrine, policies, and operational objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, refine, and validate requirements across diverse programs and initiatives. Facilitate the integration of systems, technologies, and workflows while proactively identifying and mitigating technical and operational risks Engage in cross-functional coordination with engineers, acquisition professionals, and leadership to ensure continuity and clarity throughout project lifecycles. Provide input to strategic planning and decision-making processes based on firsthand technical knowledge and mission understanding. Support the successful execution of highly visible, mission-critical initiatives by applying subject matter expertise in real time. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Deep technical or functional knowledge in a relevant domain. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic communication skills. Ability to integrate complex systems and processes while managing risk. Proficient in interpreting and applying Army policies, procedures, and operational doctrine. U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 10 years of experience directly related to the area of expertise. Experience working in cross-functional DoD or Army environments. Desired Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (AA or BA/BS) preferred. Experience providing expert-level support within acquisition, technical integration, or operations domains. Familiarity with Army program planning and execution processes.
