Site Manager – Full time position overseeing all aspects of a large complex diagnostic imaging center providing a broad range of modalities. This position will work closely with Physicians, clinical coordinators and administration in development and day-to-day operation of the clinical facility. An employee in this position will direct, plan and coordinate the work activities of the technologists, reception, file room and other administrative staff to ensure adequate coverage during hours of operation. This employee will also maintain the integrity of the Quality Assurance Program at the facility. We offer a multitude of excellent benefits and a competitive salary in a team-based atmosphere.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for answering patient questions related to medical services and resolving problems and/or complaints.
- Evaluates and maintains optimum patient flow. Monitors schedules and scheduling efficiencies of the site to ensure optimal patient throughput while ensuring customer service and quality of patient care are priorities.
- Interviews, hires, and supervises to ensure proper training of the clerical staff. Handles various personnel matters including evaluating performance of staff and recommending promotions and/or disciplinary actions.
- Ensures guidelines for maintaining films, reports and other documents are followed as per MQSA and state requirements.
- As a part of the Management team, works to ensure company-wide policies and best practices are used and provides suggestions to implement change as necessary.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Associate degree in health care administration or business management OR three years of related experience and a minimum of one year supervisory experience in diagnostic imaging, nursing or other healthcare field. Radiology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical office management and quality assurance.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good computer skills
