Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse and Delivery Person to join our irrigation business. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive high-quality irrigation products on time while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming irrigation supplies and equipment.

• Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.

• Prepare orders by pulling, packing, and labeling irrigation products for delivery or pickup.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.

Delivery Duties:

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with irrigation materials (pipes, fittings, sprinklers, etc.).

• Deliver products to customer sites in a timely and professional manner.

• Verify delivery contents with customers and obtain necessary signatures.

• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.

Customer Service and Administrative Tasks:

• Interact with customers professionally during deliveries, addressing basic inquiries or concerns.

• Use QuickBooks to check out customers, process payments, and generate invoices.

• Utilize computer systems to order inventory and update stock records.

• Communicate delivery schedules and updates effectively.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols for lifting, loading, and operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

• Adhere to DOT regulations and safe driving practices during deliveries.

• Ensure proper handling of irrigation products to prevent damage.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [50-75 lbs]) and perform physical tasks.

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or delivery (preferred but not required).

• Familiarity with irrigation products or landscaping supplies is a plus.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
