We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Manage laundry services for linens and towels, ensuring they are cleaned and returned promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and products used in hotel environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
