Rana Creek works on a variety of landscape design/build projects, habitat restoration and seed collection projects, and landscape construction projects throughout California.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Technician and Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Nursery Technician and Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Rana's Nursery and conducting excellent customer service both on site and during deliveries. This position requires a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors and with people.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliveries and picking up plant and landscaping materials
- Plant maintenance including propagation, pruning, weeding, irrigating, and light pest control
- Occasional landscaping duties as required in support of RLS Landscaping Crew
- Other duties are required as necessary or as directed by the Nursery Manager
Qualifications:
- Applicant must possess a valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Must have past horticulture experience
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with a variety of hand and mechanized tools required
- Experience driving a tractor preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in inclement conditions
- Basic Greenhouse maintenance experience (irrigation installation and maintenance, basic hoop house set-up and maintenance) strongly preferred
- Experience in plant identification preferred
- Excellent record keeping with attention to detail and communication
- Basic computer and software skills preferred
- Customer Service experience expected

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
