Position Overview: As an Upper Technician at Rapid Oil Change, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our customers' vehicles. We believe in clear communication and collaboration, particularly with our pit technicians, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as required
- Provide clear and technical explanations to customers about their vehicles
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships
- Demonstrate good physical dexterity for various maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct final checks on vehicles to ensure safety and job completion
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Pass the Department of Public Safety inspector's test
- Collaborate closely with pit technicians, communicating effectively to ensure the safety and completion of tasks on customers' vehicles
- Share knowledge with team members to enhance overall performance
- Be knowledgeable about the products and services we offer
Qualifications:
- Prior vehicle maintenance experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical information
- Valid TX Driver License
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and lift moderately heavy items
