They are a team of 30 with incredible firepower in terms of researchers, engineers, and developers with a breadth of AI experience, including Stanford, Meta AI, Google, Microsoft, and more. They recently completed a $43M Series A raise and are growing quickly.
They are seeking a Frontend Leaning Engineer to join their SF Bay Area team, where you'll help revolutionize the way professionals access knowledge. As a member of their team, you will drive user-facing experiences for their expert users.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of web application features, from conception through deployment, ensuring they meet our high standards for performance, accessibility, and user experience
- Work with users to understand their role and use-cases and make sure they have an seamless experience in the product
- Design and implement APIs and services that power our applications, working closely with backend teams to ensure uninterrupted integration and data flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including the product team, designers, and backend engineers
- Champion the continuous improvement of our engineering processes, advocating for best practices in code quality, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related qualification
- 5 years experience in building and shipping user-facing features
- Expertise in front-end development, with advanced skills in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies, ensuring the creation of engaging user interfaces
- Expertise in HTML and CSS
- A passion for building products that delight users, with a strong product orientation and the ability to prioritize features based on user value
- Proactive and eager to take ownership
- Fast iteration based on user engagement
